The Halifax Mooseheads Season Has Started

Halifax may not have an NHL team, or a CFL team for that matter, but we do have the Mooseheads and they just started their 2024-2025 season.

A Canadian junior hockey team that plays in the Quebec Junior Hockey League (QMJHL), the Mooseheads are based in Halifax out of Scotiabank Centre.

The Mooseheads will play over 30 games at home, with the regular season coming to a close at the end of March.

Unfortunately, the Mooseheads currently have no NHL-affiliated players on their roster — the four from last season have either graduated to pro hockey or been traded — but who knows when that could change. Maybe there will be some stars in the making that you could see first, right here, on the east coast.

Regular tickets go from $25-33, while students, youth 12 and under, and seniors over 60 get slightly reduced rates.

If you’re looking to cheer on a home team, this might just fit the bill.

Stay warm in there.
