hal-con

Okay, so, Hal-Con — the biggest, geekiest sci-fi convention in Atlantic Canada — might be technically sold out (as in completely sold out), but there are still a few other related events with tickets still available.

These include the Discovery Gala, where Hal-Con takes over the Discovery Centre with a red carpet gala fit for your fanciest cosplay; a Victorian Tea Party at the Halifax Citadel with servers dressed in authentic Victorian-era attire; and Geekbounding: Cosplay and Cocktails, where you’re invited to wear your best geek-inspired outfit for an evening of snacks, photos, themed cocktails, and live jazz music.
