The highly-anticipated 29th annual Nova Scotia Power Holiday Parade of Lights presented by Eastlink, is set to light up downtown Halifax once again with a new date and time - Sunday, December 8, 2024, at 5:00 PM!
This beloved holiday tradition, now under the Title Sponsorship of Nova Scotia Power, will bring families and community members together, marking the official start of the holiday season in Nova Scotia’s capital.
Parade Route: The 2024 parade will begin at the Cogswell Street roundabout next to the Emera Oval and Citadel Community Centre, moving south along Ahern Avenue before turning onto Bell Road. It will continue onto South Park Street, east along Spring Garden Road, turning left onto Barrington Street, and concluding at George Street. Spectators can look forward to festive floats, vibrant performances, and, of course, an appearance from Santa Claus.
